Shampoos
Milva shampoos are designed so that each one targets a specific need of the hair and scalp. Our range includes both 200 ml and large 500 ml sizes for regular care.
We manufacture our shampoos ourselves and process herbal raw materials into our own extracts. Our formulas are based on one or two main active ingredients, carefully selected according to specific hair needs. We use them in significant amounts so that their presence in everyday hair care can truly be felt.

What makes Milva shampoos special?
We develop Milva shampoos as targeted care for the scalp, roots and hair. Instead of using a large number of active ingredients, we build each formula primarily around one or two key active ingredients selected according to specific hair needs.
A characteristic part of our formulas is our herbal extracts, which we produce ourselves. This gives us control over one of the most important components of our shampoos – from the selection of the plant material to the extract used in the final product.
How to choose the right Milva shampoo?
Hair loss
For increased hair loss, choose shampoos with quinine or caffeine, which are part of targeted care for the scalp and weakened hair roots.
Significant hair thinning
For thinning and weakened hair, choose a more intensive routine focused on the scalp and roots. You can combine the shampoo with a hair tonic from the same range.
Weak and brittle hair
Choose strengthening care according to your hair's needs. For long or damaged hair, complement your shampoo with a conditioner or mask that cares for stressed lengths.
Problematic scalp
For an oily scalp, dandruff or a tendency towards seborrhea, choose your shampoo primarily according to the condition of your scalp, not only according to the appearance of your hair lengths.
What are Milva shampoos based on?
Quinine
One of Milva's characteristic active ingredients. We use it in care designed primarily for weakened hair and increased hair loss.
Caffeine
A popular active ingredient in hair cosmetics, used in products focused on the scalp, roots and hair vitality.
Our own herbal extracts
We process plant materials into our own extracts, which we then use in our formulas. This allows us to formulate individual shampoos specifically according to the particular needs of the hair and scalp.
Scalp and roots first, then the lengths
A shampoo should primarily cleanse the scalp and create suitable conditions for regular care of the hair roots. This is why Milva shampoos are designed primarily with the needs of the scalp and hair at the roots in mind.
We do not use silicones in our shampoos. Instead of creating a cosmetic effect on the surface of the hair, our development focuses on cleansing the scalp and targeted active ingredients.
If you have long, dry, damaged, coloured or naturally porous hair, shampoo alone may not provide the lengths with everything they need. In this case, we recommend using a conditioner after washing and adding a hair mask as needed.
How to use shampoo correctly?
Focus on the scalp
Apply the shampoo primarily to the roots and thoroughly wet scalp. There is no need to shampoo the entire lengths intensively.
Massage gently
Gently massage the shampoo into the scalp with your fingertips. Avoid aggressive scratching with your nails and unnecessary tangling of the hair.
Rinse thoroughly
Rinse the shampoo out with plenty of water. If your hair is very oily or you use a lot of styling products, you can repeat the wash as needed.
Care for the lengths
For long, dry, porous or damaged hair, follow with a conditioner. For more intensive care, you can add a hair mask as needed.
Healthy hair starts with the scalp
At Milva, we have long focused on caring for the scalp and hair roots. A regular and properly selected routine helps keep the scalp and hair in good condition. Hair lengths have different needs from the scalp – which is why we recommend combining shampoo with a suitable conditioner or mask for dry, long or damaged hair.
Questions about Milva shampoos
Do Milva shampoos contain silicones?
No. We formulate our shampoos without silicones and focus primarily on a clean scalp, the hair roots and appropriately selected active ingredients.
Why does each shampoo target a specific problem?
Our formulas are intentionally based primarily on one or two key active ingredients. This allows you to choose care according to what your hair and scalp currently need.
Do I need a conditioner after shampooing?
It depends on your hair. For short or low-maintenance hair, it may not always be necessary. For long, dry, coloured, damaged or naturally porous hair, we recommend regularly using a conditioner on the lengths and ends.
When should I use a hair mask?
A mask is suitable as a more intensive supplementary treatment, especially for dry, damaged and stressed hair. Use it according to your hair's needs and the recommendations for the specific product.
Does Milva also offer larger shampoo sizes?
Yes. Our range includes classic 200 ml sizes as well as selected shampoos in large 500 ml sizes, which are practical for regular use.
